Burger King Agrees to $3.3 Bln Sale to 3G Capital
LOS ANGELES, (Reuters) – Burger King Holdings Inc agreed to sell itself to investment firm 3G Capital for $3.26 billion, giving the No. 2 U.S. fast-food chain breathing room to fix its business and close the gap with leader McDonald’s Corp.
At $24 per share, the offer represents a 46 percent premium to Burger King’s price before news of the negotiations emerged on Wednesday.

Italy Approves $66m in Aid for Mozambique
Italy has approves $66 million in aid for Mozambique to fund its projects and development programs, deputy Foreign Affairs minster Eduardo Koloma told Radio Mozambique on Friday.
Mozambican deputy Foreign Affairs minster, Eduardo Koloma, said the signed agreements are meant to strengthen technical, vocational and higher education, promote more employment opportunities in the education sector, strengthen the national health system and qualitative and quantitative improvement of human resources.
